Study of critical areas with higher risk of emissions

REMAS studies the most vulnerable and preferential action areas to include safeguard measures and increase of carbon pools.

The quantification of the carbon stocks in the different ecosystems through the pilot areas and the great variability of data for the elaboration of risk maps will help to determine the vulnerability of the SUDOE territory, helping to evaluate the evolution of the emission risk.

Therefore, a joint and transnational work will lay solid basis for managing this risk with proven results in different regions. These will act as catalysts for the expansion of these mitigation impacts to other SUDOE regions.
